So I let Cooper have a pudding cup the other night. I figured why not? As you can see he really enjoyed it! I love that at one point he was using BOTH his fork and spoon at the same time. Smart boy :)

We had such a great Easter weekend! Friday night we hung out with our friends Brandon and Lesley Ann and their little boy, Howell (who is 8 months old). Cooper just loved him! I wish I would have taken some pictures of the two of them cracking each other up. Then Saturday we spent at the Howell's enjoying an Easter egg hunt and yummy brunch. Today we went to church and then lunch with the Finley's. And we had some great family time, just the three of us, too. Hope everyone else had a great weekend!

We have enjoyed celebrating Grandma and Dee's birthdays the past couple of weeks. Cooper especially enjoyed the birthday cakes :) Then today we went to an Easter egg hunt at Cooper's friend Lily Catherine's house. It was so much fun! I have to admit I was surprised Cooper actually understood the concept. He also thoroughly enjoyed the homemade cookies and managed to swipe one off the table on his own. We are really looking forward to Easter weekend with our families!

Cooper is at such a sweet age. We have really been having fun lately. He LOVES being outside so I am SO ready for the weather to stay warm. We have been having fun going to the park and playing in the backyard though. I am looking forward to a great summer :)

Things are good here at the Howell home. Chris is busy working, I am busy chasing Cooper, Cooper is busy getting into EVERYTHING and Maggie is busy trying to get some sleep since we seem to keep her up all day :)

Cooper started walking on Christmas Eve but has really started taking off this week. He still does a fair share of crawling but he is so proud of himself when he walks, as you can see by the big smile on his face :)

We had a great Christmas this year! Very busy but we truly enjoyed all of our time with our families. Cooper really enjoyed spending time with all of his cousins. It's going to be pretty boring just hanging out at home with mommy this week after all of our outings! We did have our first trip to the ER the day after Christmas. He fell into our coffee table and gashed his face. It was so pitiful and probably harder on Chris and I then him. But he's fine, just a few stitches. He also started walking! He will take 6 steps or so and then fall and crawl the rest of the way. He gets so excited every time he does it too. I can't help but think back to last Christmas when I managed to get out of my jammies to make it to our family Christmas gatherings with a one month old. Wow, the difference in a year! I hope everyone else had a very merry Christmas and will have a happy new year!

I'm SO behind on this. Cooper had a great first year! He went from a tiny good sleeping newborn to an active little toddler. Wow what they learn in a year! He has truly been a blessing to Chris and I. We had a great Thanksgiving with our families. It was pretty crazy having five kids age four and under together. Then we had a party with our families the following Saturday for Coop's first birthday. Cooper really enjoyed himself and, as you can see, totally went for his cake. I guess he has his mommy's sweet tooth :)
