Cooper's friend Caroline came over to play today and they enjoyed pool time together. It was too funny. Caroline's new favorite toy is a whisk so I got mine out for Coop and he loved it. Funny how you get them all these cool baby toys and they like random household objects. Oh well. They had fun and we did too!

Chris' sister Heather just moved to Asheville, NC so we spend the fourth of July weekend there with Chris' other sister, Melissa, and her family. We had so much fun! We had 5 kids under the age of 4 so we didn't get to go to many places since our days revolved around naps, but we still enjoyed each others company.

Cooper was dedicated at church on Father's Day. It was a really special moment as parents to give him to God and pledge to raise him up in a Christian home. We are really excited to see what God has in store for Cooper's life.

Today I put Cooper in his new baby pool for the first time. He loved it! He was very relaxed by the end, just wanting to kick back and chew on his toys. He was pretty cute in his little swim trunks :)

Chris and I went to Charleston, SC this past weekend for our friend Richard's wedding. Cooper stayed in Nashville with my parents so we enjoyed a long weekend with friends. We had such a good time! It was so much fun to see my high school friends and enjoy time with Chris. You don't realize how controlled your day is by naps and feedings! We missed Cooper like crazy though and were ready to get back home to see him.

I can't believe Cooper is already six months old! These past months have flown, some of them a blur and some just seem like yesterday. Cooper is truly a blessing to Chris and I. He is so sweet and so much fun these days. He is very active so I know I'll have my hands full as soon as he figures out how to crawl which he is working very hard on. He weighed 19 lbs 2 oz at his check up (75%) and 27 3/4 inches (90%) so he is on his way to being a big boy!

Cooper is growing and doing so many more things all the time. He loves his feet these days, as you can see from his picture with Davis. We went to the park with some friends and discovered the swing which he laughed so hard while I was pushing him. So cute. I can't believe he'll be six months old in a couple of weeks!
